DESCRIPTION:
Structural Engineers for several projects varying in value from £10,000 to £15m. Projects included a new five storey learning centre in the University Campus, a new three-storey Student Association building, new single storey staff social space, demolitions and refurbishment of existing buildings within the Campus.
INVOLVEMENT:
Civil and structural design including new build structures, alterations to existing buildings, ongoing maintenance and repair projects and feasibility studies.
CHALLENGES:
Given the nature of the facility, projects required to progress either during term time where works were carried out adjacent live and operational areas, or works had to be designed, scheduled and carried out to suit University holiday periods.

An ongoing relationship with the University means we are able to provide a responsive and flexible service to suit the Universities requirements. Struer provide a reliable service for the University to call upon and we are often required to attend the University and provide advice and solutions at short notice.
